Samsung T301G - water damage

I removed the back cover, the SIM card, and battery. I put it in rice, and then reassembled. The date and time functions are working. I can view my wallpaper and see "4 missed messages"; otherwise the phone is frozen. Is this thing dead, or is there anything else I can do? Thanks for your help.

Hi tedgay4436. My name is TracFone John and I will be addressing your question. You may try to see if phone works in all the services like texting, calling and other functions of the phone you frequently use. If they all works, that is good, but if not, a replacement phone is needed.

Please take note that we do not replace phone if it's not a manufacturer's defect and under the one-year warranty.
