Hi,

I have a Motorola C139 that I have had problems receiving text messages form certain people on. The text messages will come through, but the number shown that the message originated from and the message also will all be a bunch of random numbers. Most of my texts come through fine, but I can't receive from certain people. Is there anything I can do to fix this? I have an LG 420G that I could possibly switch to if you think this would solve the problem. thanks!

Is there a way to block incoming calls on the C139? I am considering switching my landline to my cell and don't want my airtime eaten up by idiots. If I have to get a new phone, do they include number blocking and does it work well?

Thanks!

Hi. My name is TracFone Sam and I'll be addressing your question. We regret to inform you that all TracFone phones do not have the feature to block phone numbers. To stop receiving unwanted calls or text messages, you may have your phone number changed. However, changing your phone number does not guarantee that you will no longer receive unwanted calls or text messages. To change your phone number, please check your Forum inbox for a message. Thanks.

When holding down the red button, it does not turn on the display screen. However, the keypad remains lit. I have removed battery with hopes that this would reset the phone. Went thru the motions again and got the same results, no display and occasional clicking noise, keypad remains lit and it's been a couple 8 minutes now! Did I destroy my phone or does someone know how to fix it? Thanks!

Hello. This exact same scenario just happened with my phone (though I've yet to hear any 'clicking noise').
Please help, and thanks for your time.

I can receive text messages. I I send text messages but recipients say they do not receive them. When I create the message and send it the prompt says Send it now? (yes) then .3 air time deducted, then Sending message now (little envelope icon vibrates). The message will appear in the message outbox.
