I have not been able to use the Tracfone network. I don't know how long it hasn't worked because at home I use my WiFi network and I rarely leave my house; when I do leave my house, I don't use my phone often. However, when I NEED to use my phone, I cannot because it won't connect to the Tracfone network.
The only way my phone works when I leave my home is if there is a free/open WiFi network available. Please note, when I'm home, I'm using MY WiFi. When my WiFi goes out, Tracfone network does NOT work there either.
Troubleshooting steps taken:
Power off the phone and remove the SIM card. Then power it back up.
Connect to WiFI
Go to Settings > Apps & notifications > See all apps > Menu (3 dots on the top right) > Show system apps > Carrier Settings > Storage & cache > Clear Storage > OK
Go to Settings > Apps & notifications > See all apps > Menu (3 dots on the top right) > Show system apps > Phone Services > Storage & cache > Clear Storage > OK
Go to Settings > Apps & notifications > See all apps > Menu (3 dots on the top right) > Show system apps > Carrier Services > Storae & cache > Clear storage > OK
Power off the phone
Insert your SIM
Power the phone back on.
