Hello - I purchased a T301G for my son and he has not been able to consistently text from it even when the phone indicates a network connection with 2 - 5 bars. I'm not sure if it is do to the coverage of the provider in our area? Would you suggest that the SIM card needs to be replaced and or the carrier changed? Thanks for your assistance.

I have made 2 posts, 1 yesterday and 1 earlier this week. I have not received an email confirmation on either post and neither of them is showing up in the forum. I can't use my Samsung Slider at all. There is a message on the screen that says "Emergency Call" in a box. I can't turn the phone on or off, charge it, make or receive calls, or access the menu. Please acknowledge and reply to my posts!

I don't know how to set up my voice mail. I have pushed the#1 on my phone and everything I try gets me no where. Do I need a pass code? And what the the mail box number thing? Can't get through to anybody on the phone.

Problems with cellphone number and service transfer:Owned a Nokia 2126 tracphone for about 3 years. Bought a new car that has blue-tooth spkr. spkr. phone capability so wanted to upgrade my tracphone.Purchased the Samsung T301G and tried to transfer service and minutes online.Error message says technology not compatible in our service area - need to have customer service send new phone. After speaking to two service folks (which I had much difficulty understanding due to their strong accents - I was patient but frustrated by that difficulty) that tried to complete transfer, I learned that a nearby zipcode of 03784 could be used to activate the T301G but I'd need to have a new telephone number. I live on the border of zip codies 03770 and 03781 but do not have enough service to use cellphone from home. I need to drive about 5 miles to the 03784 service area or further into the 03781 area to get service. My main place of work is a 05055 zip code.FYI: Both of my tracfones were purchased fropm stores in the 0374 service area.The customer service center said they'd send me a replacement phone. Today i received a LG200C but it doesn't seem to have blue-tooth capability. Do you know if this phone has blue-tooth? My guess is No.With the U.S. law to allow someone to keep their cell phone number and transfer to a new area ( phone number moves with person) I don't understand why the tracfone technology can preclude me from using the T301G.Is there a tracphone that has similar features as the T301G that will work in the NH/VT Upper Valley of the Connecticut River service area? or how can I get this T301G working with my current phone number? I especailly want the blue-tooth capability and the camera feature on the T301G was another possible nice addition.Thx for the help.
