Samsung T301G

My phone will show I have service but when I go to make a call or a text and hit send, it deducts the minutes but immediately shows no phone service. My wife has the same phone and has no problems. Is my phone screwed up and what can be done about this problem? It doesn't do this ALL the time, but most of the time.

OK........ Still have the same problem with the phone and no response from vince_TF. What kind of help is that? Would appreciate any help from an admin.
