Wifi Authentication Failed for Samsung S390G

Wifi Authentication Failed for Samsung S390G

Postby dchau503 » Thu Sep 06, 2012 4:33 pm

When trying to connect to my home's wifi, there is no "W" next to the name of my wifi and when I do press it, it immediately says that the authentication failed and that I am disconnected from the wi-fi. Can someone help me with this? It doesn't even ask me for my wi-fi's password.

On the wi-fi scree whith the SSID highlited, press options, and edit or settings. Then you can change the encryption type, key length, and key (password).

Or, select delete and try again. It should ask for the key after you delete the existing connection info.

The W will only show up for WPA networks.
Now W but with a lock means WEP.
Now W and no lock means no encryption (and open connection)
