hi, i have an issue with my lg200c. it didn't receive its family value plan minutes for several months, and the account said it had system updates, so it took the first two codes and we got some minutes back, but the next code said invalid code 22. please help me

While reativating my tracfone LG this evening(it worked it just needed reactivation)-while on the phone and after entering many lines of code-my phone just "broke" after almost an hour of troubleshooting with the rep on the phone-I was told its broke go buy a new one and call back??? It was fine(other then needing activated)till they got ahold of it-now I need to BUY a new one? The supervisor sort of got it working-but it now reads ROAM while I am sitting in the home. I don't think this is the phones fault and don't think I will throw more good money after bad. If they couldn't successfully reactivate a phone-whats the odds of them successfully switching it to a new phone?
