Hi. If you are considering the LG 840g, this may help with your decision. Here are 5 tips/features of this touchscreen cell phone.

1) Web Browser - The LG 840g offers a great browser experience. With the touchscreen, you can surf the web in a breeze.

2) Java - The L840g offers a Java based operating system. That means you can get some apps that are compatible with Java!

3) Music - This phone offers great sound and a fully functional Music Player. You can get music on your phone from computer stores like iTunes. Keep in mind, you have to have a USB cable to do this though.

4) Quality - Since this phone is made from LG, you'll know you are getting a durable phone with great quality and features.

5) Easy Calling/Texting - This phone lets you call very easily with an easy to use Contact List. Call who you want, when you want! With texting, you can set your phone to a landscape style keyboard for fast and easy texting.

Hopefully this helped narrow down your decision! Thanks! :D

I have owned this phone for over a month and have been very pleased with it. Good features, great sound, etc....but Over the past few days, I have lost service twice. Customer support helped, but I had to enter endless streams of codes, take out and plug in the battery, and so on for over an hour. Finally worked again. Tonight, the problem came back. "no service" on the screen and no bars at the antenna icon. Removed and replaced the battery, and it's working again. Any ideas or should I simply request a replacement phone ?
