New SIM to switch from ATT to Verizon - what next?

Hi, I've got the new SIM that Tracfone sent for switching to Verizon. I followed the directions - I texted the word 'ONESTEP' to 611611, entered the last 4 digits of the new SIM card and then waited for the old card to stop working. When it stopped working, I switched to the new SIM card but when I start the phone it has an exclamation point in the signal strength indicator. What next?
