The message block is because Tracfone sometimes hiccups when your monthly renewal comes up, and even though it says "unlimited text" when you check your balance, behind the scenes that we cannot see it is 0 texts available. When this first happened to me 2 months ago, I did a factory reset of my phone and other things at the advice of customer service.

If you read this post and eventually call customer service or do the chat, it will help to educate that person to tell them to manually add texts to your account, even though it may show as "unlimited". This fixed the problem for me.

I'm experiencing the same issue and I have minutes and I can't make a call either.

How do you get the blocked message thing off.. please help...

I am having the same issue message blocking is active. I have spent two days on the phone with multiple representatives and this STILL isn't fixed. Why a simple question can't be answered here so the rest of us can fix it is beyond me.
