MESSAGE BLOCKING IS ACTIVE!?

Hey, just got a new phone sent to me in the mail today...(specifically, Alcatel Pixi Unite A466BG). So, I went ahead, and activated it, it makes and recieves calls just fine, thankfully....but everytime I ATTEMPT to send a regular text message, I quickly receive this message in return, "Free Msg: Unable to send message - Message Blocking is active."

--Now i've spent an hour or so going through this phone with a fine tooth comb seeing what setting I needed to disable or someway to resolve this, I cannot find any solution, I'd appreciate some help with this.

Same problem, with the same exact phone. Only difference is, my phone has been active for about 4 or 5 months.

Im having the same problem with my ZTE Jasper and my phone has been active for about 1 month.. What do i do ?

Free Msg: Unable to send message - Message Blocking is active.

Getting the same thing and I checked my account it seems to be working good and I can't make phone calls either.
