Transfering total wireless to tracfone, having problems

I bought a tracfone moto e5 to replace a total wireless phone that was having problems. I have attempted to transfer the number. It's been two days and the ticket for transfer shows closed. However, both phones are now showing the same phone number, and neither phone can make or receive calls.
